Advent is an important time in the Christian historical tradition as believers throughout the world think back to the generations prior to Jesus that were waiting for the Anointed One…the Messiah.
As we move toward the season of celebrating the arrival of Jesus, the God-Man, we’re excited about intentionalizing this time with some materials for us to understand and enjoy this time of “waiting”…very similar to the people of Israel who waited for a Messiah…one who would come to deliver them.
…one that arrived and lived in such a way that many were left misunderstanding his identity and HOW He would reign…
…not by obtaining political power but rather by serving and laying down his life for His people providing a way for their hearts to be transformed.
